Combining anatomy, flowers and cosmic imagery, this piece celebrates female reproductive anatomy, an aspect of human anatomy that is often glossed over or even sometimes seen as gross or taboo, when in reality, no single person on this earth would be alive without the capabilities of these hidden anatomical features. By juxtaposing joyful hibiscus, and soothing plumeria flowers with the vast cosmos and the structures of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and vaginal canal, there is a sense of beauty and mystery that reflects societal views on women and our potent power as creative beings, whether we choose to use this power or not.

With vibrant colors on a tan toned mixed media paper, this piece brings a mix of eclectic and witchy vibes to any space. Measuring 9 x 12 inches on paper, it would work great in any frame starting at an 11 x 14 inch size. You can lean into a minimalist theme with a simple black frame, or take it more into an eclectic or dark academia direction with an ornate wooden frame.
