Overview

Combining anatomy, flowers and sustainable practices, in this piece, daffodils, roses and lavender bloom from where the superior vessels of a human heart would be and roots sprout from where the inferior vessels would start. What do I mean by sustainable practices? This piece is made from home-made pigments, which include materials like beet juice, butterfly pea flower, firebush flowers, turmeric, spinach, and charcoal, and of course, water. The intent was to make something from materials I could find around my house. You can see the video on how this was made on my YouTube channel.

With vibrant colors on a crisp high quality paper, this piece brings a mix of minimalist, eclectic and witchy vibes to any space. Measuring 9.25 x 13.75 inches on paper, it would work great in any frame starting at an 11 x 14 inch size. You can lean into the minimalist theme with a simple black frame, or take it more into an eclectic or dark academia direction with an ornate wooden frame.
